Adele Barker joins M Group as Chief People Officer

M Group has appointed Adele Barker as its new Chief People Officer, bringing extensive leadership and transformation experience from major consumer brands including British Gas and Orange.

Adele joins the business from Pennon Plc and will lead M Group’s people strategy as the company continues its growth and transformation plans.

Her appointment comes at what M Group described as a pivotal stage for the business, with a focus on strengthening leadership, employee engagement and long-term performance.

M Group Chief Executive Andrew Findlay said: “Adele brings outstanding experience to M Group at a pivotal time for our business. Her focus on leadership and people engagement will drive sustainable performance and help us build strong, agile teams for the future. I’m delighted to welcome Adele on board.”

Adele Barker said she was looking forward to supporting the company’s future ambitions and working closely with teams across the business.
