CIRO Welcomes New Board Members

The Chartered Institution of Railway Operators (CIRO) today announced the appointment of Jason Wade FCIRO and Chris Jackson to its Board of Governors. These appointments bolster CIRO’s leadership with valuable expertise from prominent figures in the rail industry.

These appointments follow the recent expansion of the Board of Governors through both election and selection processes.

Commenting on the appointments, Phil Sherratt, CIRO’s CEO, said: I also want to extend my gratitude to Ellie and Tom for their significant contributions to CIRO. They have been passionate advocates for our mission, and we wish them every success in their future endeavours.”

“We are excited to have two strong advocates of CIRO joining the Board. Chris and Jason bring a wealth of operating knowledge and experience, and I look forward to working with them as CIRO celebrates its 25th anniversary year and embarks on the next stage of its development.
