RIA to host conference at Rolling Stock Networking (RSN)

Rolling Stock Networking (RSN) is pleased to announce that The Railway Industry Association (RIA) is the Rolling Stock Networking (RSN) conference partner for the 2025 event on 3 July 2025 at the Derby Arena.

The conference will consider the future outlook for UK rolling stock in the short, medium and long term, and is free to attend. It will examine current options and proposals for the procurement of new build trains as well as fleet cascade and refurbishment options while focusing on how to adapt rail infrastructure and integrate alternative traction to achieve net zero targets.

RIA Technical & Innovation Director Richard Carr commented: “The Rolling Stock Networking Conference and Exhibition is the leading UK event dedicated to rolling stock and its supply chain. We are thrilled to host this year’s conference, providing a platform to promote the UK Rolling Stock supply chain, showcase significant technological and innovative advancements, and engage in important policy and long-term strategy discussions.”

RSN Events Director – Kevin Lane added: “The Conference is a very important part of RSN, bringing high quality information to attendees to help them succeed in the industry. RIA are unparalleled in their industry advocacy and connections, being exceptionally close to the unfolding direction of the future railway. We are looking forward to the conference and are certain that this will be both insightful and essential to delegates.”
