Transport Consultancy The Hub Boosts Leadership Team with Senior Strategic Appointments

UK-based transport advisory firm, The Hub, has announced two significant senior appointments, signalling a new phase of growth and expansion for the consultancy. The move is intended to broaden the business’s capabilities, enabling it to target new markets and geographies with an enhanced service offering for clients.

Josie Drath has been appointed as Executive Director, bringing a wealth of expertise and leadership experience to the role. A highly experienced project and people leader, Josie has a proven track record of combining commercial and technical insights gained from consulting leadership positions at Arup and Atkins. She joins The Hub’s founders, Yasha Vojdani and Pieter Meulendijk-de Mol, as the third Executive Director and Board member. The company states that this strategic investment reflects its ambition to be the leading advisor in the transport sector, renowned for its exceptional people.

Josie Drath commented on her new role: “I am really excited to be joining and co-leading The Hub in the next part of their journey. I have known Yasha and Pieter for many years and really admire the business and exceptional team they have established, so I feel very lucky to become a part of it. I’m looking forward to bringing my skillset and experience to diversify and expand our business potential.”

To further support its ambitious growth plans and organisational transformation, The Hub has also welcomed Rufus Boyd as Non-Executive Director. Rufus brings extensive transport experience from both UK and international markets, most recently from the Great British Railways Transition Team (GBRTT). In addition to his Non-Executive Director responsibilities, Rufus will also serve as a Senior Strategic Advisor for The Hub on projects requiring high-level advisory expertise.

Rufus Boyd shared his enthusiasm for his new position: “I am delighted to be returning to the world of management consulting with such a strong and determined executive team; The Hub rightly see their recent hires at every level of the business from graduate upwards as the start of a transformative chapter for the business”.

The Hub believes these senior appointments will significantly strengthen its executive team and enhance its capacity to deliver larger and more complex projects across the transport sector. These new additions will complement the existing expertise of long-standing Senior Strategic Advisors Kelly Barlow and Ben Wilson.
