Yellow Rail, a prominent provider of specialist rail engineering services and part of the Buckland Rail group, has announced it has been awarded a significant contract with London Trams. The agreement will see Yellow Rail deliver a comprehensive turnkey solution for the overhaul of SVT bogies and brake systems across the London Trams fleet.
Yellow Rail stated that this project further solidifies its position as a trusted supplier of specialist rail engineering services within both the passenger and freight markets across the UK.
All overhaul activities will be managed end-to-end by Yellow Rail and conducted at the company’s recently invested-in facility at Litchurch Lane, Derby. This work will be supported by an “experienced and dedicated” team. The solution is specifically designed to ensure the safety, performance, and long-term reliability of the London Trams network.
