LPA Group secures £4 Million in Export Rail Projects

LPA Group plc, a leading provider of electronic and electro-mechanical components and systems, today announced the award of three significant projects in the export rail market, totaling £4 million.

These contracts demonstrate LPA Group’s continued success in the global rail sector, solidifying its position as a trusted partner for leading manufacturers and operators.

  • SNCF Voyageurs: LPA Group has been awarded a contract by SNCF Voyageurs, the French national rail operator, for the design and supply of bespoke interior LED lighting for the retrofit of regional and inter-city fleets. This contract marks a renewal of a 16-year partnership with SNCF.
  • Siemens Mobility: LPA Group will manufacture bespoke LED lighting as part of Siemens Mobility’s overhaul of the Munich Metro rolling stock interior lighting system. This project is scheduled for completion by the end of 2025.
  • Grammer AG: LPA Group has been awarded a contract by Grammer AG, a leading manufacturer of seating systems, to design and supply seat electronics and lighting for the CSI (Corridor Sud Italie) project. This project involves 15 Avelia Horizon next-generation TGV trains being built by Alstom Transport for SNCF in France. Delivery is expected by the end of 2026.
