Rail Freight Handbook 2024/25 Now Available Online

The Rail Freight Group (RFG) has released the latest edition of its annual Rail Freight Handbook.

The 2024/25 issue provides comprehensive and up-to-date contact information for companies and organisations involved in the rail freight sector. The handbook is organised into classified sections, making it easy to find specific information, such as haulage contacts or insurance advice.

This year’s edition features a foreword by Rail Minister Huw Merriman MP, as well as a number of editorial articles from industry experts. Contributors include Carl Waring, Henry Bates, Dr. Nicholas Head, Colin Denman, Chris Lawrenson, Lydia Cullimore, Neil Sime, Mick Tinsley, Mark Hooper, and Robert Jervis.

The RFG team has also contributed to the handbook, with introductions by RFG Chair Chris Swan and Director-General Maggie Simpson OBE, a policy update from Assistant Policy Manager Phil Smart, and regional review articles on Scotland, The North, Wales, and the West Midlands.
