Combining an exhibition with 153 exhibitors from across the rolling-stock supply chain, a conference organised by the Railway Industry Association, unlimited networking opportunities, a Digitisation Forum and a series of product launches and demonstrations, it really is an event that is not to be missed.
RSN is a fun packed, conveyor belt of meetings, opportunities, information and networking, from the moment the show opens there is a frenetic pace to the day.
You can’t miss the first exhibit. Positive Traction will have an o8e Locomotive on show just outside the entrance on a trailer provided by Reid Freight Services. The loco was originally a Class 08 shunter that is fully converted to battery power.
Just inside the door we have 153 exhibitors including CAF, Stadler, Siemens Mobility (traction drives). Unipart, Westermo, Railnova, Romic and many, many more. We say if it exists you will find it at RSN. We even have a Racing Superbike from True Heroes on the Akriveia stand.
At the rear of the hall we have the Jobson James meet the Buyer with Alstom, Hitachi, Keolis, West Midlands Trains and many more all eager to have more meaningful discussions matching demand to supply. The matchmaking has been completed and the list of meetings circulated to the successful delegates.
On the mezzanine level on the left of the hall is a conference delivered by Railway Industry Association. RIA have superb speakers this year and are really on topic for our exhibitors. The conference is looking at the market, technology and real project experience with Siemens, Alstom, Freightliner, Angel Trains, Grand Central, Network Rail and Alstom amongst a superb complement of speakers.
Finally we have a forum on the second floor presented by Delta XD it’s all about digitisation and will appeal to engineers that have design challenges in keeping our rail fleets running with limited drawings or information. This is very much a how to do it event.
