RSN 2025 (Rolling Stock Networking) announces a superb line up for 2025

Free to Attend, Rolling Stock Networking, is the UK’s leading annual exhibition for the rolling stock supply industry and will take place on 3rd July in Derby UK.

The previous show RSN2024 was busier than ever, breaking attendance records, with RSN 2025 poised to be even more successful. With over 150 exhibitors attracting more than 2,000 visitors, the show is focussed on the supply chain for rolling stock manufacture and refurbishment, depots and train operators.

Although marketed as a rail show, attracting the leading tier one suppliers including Siemens Mobility, CAF and Stadler, the show also has a broad appeal in transport and engineering with many exhibitors being multi sector in Automotive, Marine, Aerospace, Engineering and Coach & Bus. Everything from the latest technology to nuts, bolts and tools are on show.

Exhibition

Innovation and technology, particularly digital systems, can be found throughout the show, with many overseas exhibitors amongst the British ones. For 2025 we are pleased to welcome VIVOTEC Netherlands BV, Infodev EDI, icotek Gmbh, Televic GSP, VDS Rail S.P.A amongst an ever widening contingent of international companies.

Many of the exhibitors at Rolling Stock Networking are small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs), these companies are at the forefront of entrepreneurship providing the innovation and new products that are essential to the railway of tomorrow, all eager to explain their products, solutions and innovations to the delegates on the day.  They are accompanied by many companies that provide the day-to-day support to the industry in maintenance, components and services that are essential to the ongoing operation of the railway.

Westermo will offer complete Data Communication solutions. Their extensive range of Robust, Cybersecure and Rail-Approved products are specifically designed for On-Board, Train-to-Ground or Trackside applications, whilst Orange Train Wash will showcase their superb environmentally responsible, train washing machine.

Canadian exhibitor Infodev one of the leading manufacturers of Automatic Passenger Counting (APC) systems will be at the entrance, their technology tells train operators when and where passengers board and get off, as well as how many are on board at any time. The display is intriguing, visitors will be stepping forward and backwards on the Infodev stand all day, watching how they show up on the screens on the stand – red blobs for people, blue blobs for bags – even backpacks show up.

Train Bits and More (TBM), will be offering a wide range of services from seat-cover cleaning, fabric protection and CET tank overhauls to nylon coatings for carriage fittings and door sensor switches, whilst Sabre Rail, from Newton Aycliffe in County Durham, refurbishes mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and components for the rail industry. Safety-critical components can be serviced/refurbished, tested and then returned back into traffic.

Depot Equipment and Civil Engineering also play a part in the show, with Cairn Cross, Hoval, Hexagon, Jewers Doors and Totalcare all offering their products and services that support the operational railway.

But that’s not all !  With 150+ leading companies exhibiting, there is plenty to interest visitors from all sectors.

Meet the Buyer

At the back of the hall, a group of procurement professionals from several major railway undertakings will be conducting ‘Meet the Buyer’ interviews.

In 2024 executives from Alstom, Hitachi Rail, Porterbrook, Keolis Amey, Clayton and WH Davis spent the day meeting exhibitors, discussing requirements and opportunities.  The participants for the MTB for 2025 will be announced in March.

Conference

The conference will continue to be a major feature of the show, provided every year by an industry leading organisation. Innovation, safety, opportunities and industry knowledge will be shared with delegates and unlike many other events everything at RSN 2025 is free to attend.
